Grazie Ragazzi is an independent publishing project documenting one of the most extraordinary collective celebrations in recent Italian history. Following Napoli’s third Serie A title, the project explores how a sporting achievement transcended football, transforming an entire city into a shared emotional landscape.

For three months, we walked through the streets of Naples, photographing the gradual transformation of its neighbourhoods. More than 6,000 images capture a city reshaped by spontaneous rituals, handmade decorations, improvised celebrations, and the countless gestures through which people claimed public space as their own. The project observes these transformations not as isolated events, but as the visual expression of a collective identity unfolding in real time.

Moments of euphoria sit alongside intimate portraits, everyday details, and quiet acts of remembrance, revealing a celebration shared across generations. Every image contributes to a broader portrait of belonging, memory, and human connection, where football becomes the catalyst for something far greater than sport.

Grazie Ragazzi ultimately reflects on photography as a tool for preserving collective memory. More than recording what happened, the project captures how a city felt, creating a lasting archive of emotions that could only exist for a brief moment in time.
