Narratives / Relazioni is a solo exhibition by photographer Giovanna Silva, presented at Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa during the 17th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale. Bringing together more than a decade of research, the exhibition investigates architecture as a lens through which to read history, memory, and the aspirations of nations.
The visual identity and editorial materials were designed to extend Silva’s photographic methodology beyond the exhibition itself. Inspired by the relationships that emerge throughout her work, the graphic system translates this approach into a sequence of printed and environmental applications where juxtaposition, rhythm, and pacing become the primary storytelling tools.
At the heart of the project is a loose-leaf publication that pairs photographs through visual and semantic associations. As each signature unfolds into a series of mini posters, the publication continuously recomposes the archive, generating new narratives and encouraging multiple ways of reading the images.
